1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
As women, we tend to put ourselves last. I have been married almost 16 years. When we married, life became about making a home for us, my career, and my husband’s career. Then my daughter was born and of course life became all about her plus the above. I have just recently found that taking time for myself is important. This is a good habit all women should realize early in life. Doing something for yourself is as important as it is taking care of your family.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I worry about the future world my daughter will live in. Too often we hear about a school shooting or an active shooter situation. When we go to the movies I worry about sitting close to an exit, or if we attend a concert, is there somewhere we could seek shelter if we needed to. This is our way of life now and I refuse to stop living, but I admit I live with caution sometimes. I worry about what she will encounter in her lifetime.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Well I must admit…we are a Disney family! We love all things Disney! Most vacations we travel to Walt Disney World. We have been 22 times! My daughter could be your own personal tour guide, as she knows the parks quite well! We even know Cinderella personally and have had some very special encounters! The royal treatment we receive there is enough reason to keep returning time after time!

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
I love that with my age, comes confidence and being comfortable with who I am. When I was young, I worried what others thought of me or what I needed to do to impress others. With maturity and age, the need for that has gone away. I have learned to love who I am and strive to be the best version of myself every day! In turn, this has made me a much happier person! My goal is to instill this in my daughter, as well as the children I work with in our schools every day.
